New Year...New Business!!!

2017....the year I started my quilting business....

Checking things off of my list of things-to-do-first on my business plan!

1.  Start the blog

2.  Buy website (who knew that there were so many options to domains!  .business, .com, .me....do I buy them all, or just one or two....but as it turns out, I bought 2 - .business and .com)

3.  Spend entire day looking through old pictures on my computer.  Okay, that wasn't really an item, but that is what I ended up doing after opening my files to look for pictures to post to the blog and the website.  So for your viewing pleasure....

The most amazing cutting table ever!  My husband built this for me out of a couple of dressers we had in the garage and a pre-made countertop from Menards.  See that little cubbie to the left....well, that holds my little ironing pad (yes, my husband is wonderful) and the shelves underneath now hold little containers for scrap fabric and miscellaneous things I can't do without (like the container of dark chocolate covered salted caramels).

One of these days, I should take more pics of that sewing room, but I am going to have to get it cleaned and organized and looking neat as a pin.....so I wouldn't expect to see more anytime soon!  (unless you don't mind seeing the mess).

I think I will go work on that room right now (no really, I'm just going to go pet my fabric stash for a while and drink more coffee).  Maybe I will write more later or tomorrow
